Colleen Patrick Goudreau
Known as the Joyful Vegan, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau is a recognized expert and thought leader on the culinary, social, ethical, and practical aspects of living vegan. She is a speaker, cultural commentator, and award-winning author of several books, including the bestselling The Joy of Vegan Baking, The Vegan Table, Color Me Vegan, Vegan's Daily Companion, and The 30-Day Vegan Challenge; an acclaimed speaker and a multimedia host, beloved especially for her inspiring podcast, “Food for Thought," which has been voted Favorite Podcast by VegNews magazine readers several years in a row. She recently launched a new podcast called “Animalogy” about our animal-related words and expressions, and she is the co-founder of the East Bay Animal PAC, which works to elect animal-friendly candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Colleen is a regular contributor to National Public Radio has appeared on The Food Network and PBS, and she is thrilled to be releasing her 7th book in October 2019, called The Joyful Vegan: STAYING Vegan in a World That Wants You to Eat Meat, Dairy, and Eggs—which is the topic of her talk at VegFest London 2019!
